HOW I GOT HERE
How did I end up sitting at my desk all day, every day, writing and illustrating?
Well, it all started way back. Way. Way back.
I won't bore you with all of the details. I've been a creative my whole life. I published my first poem when I was 15 years old. The honor I felt in having my words written on a page for others to read and feel was immense. I knew right then that someday I wanted to publish again (and hopefully again, and again)! But, college, career, and LIFE got in the way. So for many years, I pushed those books down deep inside of me. My bookworm stayed at bay collecting stories for another day. Now, I'm here, with the time (sort of) and all of the inspiration to sit and do the worm work. It's slow, but steady. And now, I have 4 little monsters of my own that inspire me every single day!
