writes for the spaces most people move past—
the ones where something almost happens,
almost gets said,
almost changes everything.
Her work lives in memory, in emotion, in the quiet tension of what lingers long after a moment has passed.
She is drawn to what is left unsaid, what is carried,
and what refuses to leave.
She has been creating for as long as she can remember, first through drawing, then through writing. At sixteen, she published her first piece of poetry—an early indication of the voice she continues to follow.
Her work spans genres, from literary fiction to children’s books, though her focus remains the same: connection, perception, and the in-between. She writes intuitively, often resisting traditional structure in favor of atmosphere, fragmentation, and feeling.
Jen lives between Houston, Texas and the Czech Republic with her family, where contrast, movement, and everyday moments continue to shape her work.
She is currently working on her debut novel,
NAMES ARE NOT IMPORTANT.
She writes for the ones who didn’t say it in time.
