Creating for as long as she can remember, she began her journey through drawing and later through writing. At sixteen, she published her first piece of poetry—an early indication of the voice she continues to follow.
Her work spans genres, from literary fiction to children’s books, though her focus remains the same: connection, perception, and the in-between. Jen writes intuitively, often resisting traditional structure in favor of atmosphere, fragmentation, and feeling.
Currently, Jen Lee lives between Houston, Texas, and the Czech Republic with her family, where contrast, movement, and everyday moments continue to shape her work. She is currently working on her debut novel, NAMES ARE NOT IMPORTANT, a project that reflects her dedication to writing for those who didn’t say it in time.
